Hello everyone, I would like to draw your attention to this:



For those of you who are not aware what this is about, I'll give you a small explanation:
NiGHTS into Dreams was a game for the SEGA Saturn and is my personal favourite game ever (yes that's right, I like it more than any Sonic the Hedgehog game!), NiGHTS however has not had a lot of love from SEGA recently and while he was in SEGA SuperStars Tennis, he is apparently not going to be in All Star Racing... this makes me sad and I would like to ask that all of you follow the link on the above image and help get NiGHTS into ASR in some way or another.
Sumo Digital (the company making the game) already know how NiGHTS fans feel, but SEGA need to know too, so please, even if you don't know about NiGHTS help him get into ASR and then go look up his Saturn game (or the Wii one, but that's not as good as the original!).

I thank you for taking the time to read my plea and hope that you will all do your part and help out the NiGHTS fans.

Here's a rather random folder that I found in a pound shop and just had to share with everyone:



I have no idea what the text means, but the text is actually on the folder itself rather than the packing (though I know it doesn't look that way from the picture). It's little things like this that can really help to lift your spirits in times when you're feeling down.

Also I'm planning on trying to find and post up as many random things that I can as I find them, I have a couple of things to show you waiting in line but I'll get to them in time ~_^

So Pokemon Platinum is now out in Europe (though it's taken a while to get here) and it's a fair bit of an upgrade over Diamond and Pearl, but to be honest if I had to pay full price for it I don't think I'd be that interested in getting it, especially as I managed to fully complete Diamond. However I was out in Bournemouth over the weekend (helping my sister to look for a new phone) and saw that GameStation were doing a very good deal, trade in any 3 DS games to get Platinum for £0.99p.

Well that seemed like a good deal to me and I just so happened to have a few games that I wanted to get rid of and if I had tried to sell them or trade them in I knew I wouldn't have got much for them, so I decided that I'd go back the next day and take them up on that offer and well...
I think that says it all really. Plus when I gave the game to the lady at the counter her comment was "Oh you've got some nice cheap games here!" so I was right, I really would have got sod all for them, especially as the trade-in value for one of them was £1! Still got to start playing it through yet, but it should be a good distraction.

Okay I have to say that over the years I have overheard some very strange conversations, but the one I heard the other day just takes the cake. Seriously it was just so random I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

It starts off with me and almiraswolf in the Subway store in Salisbury, we had gone in there for breakfast subs and were both sitting happily enjoying them when this american couple came in to order some food too.
Well the american woman asked for a Mega Breakfast (which, for those who don't know, consists of Sausage, Egg, Bacon and Cheese) and the woman serving put some bacon on first and the american woman spoke up straight away saying "No, no bacon, it doesn't look cooked properly" followed by "Are you trying to kill me?" which was said in a joking way but still the poor girl at the counter must have been wondering what the hell was going on. Then as the american woman moved on down to the end of the counter where her husband was getting drinks she came out with "The problem with the British is that you don't cook your bacon properly, it's not crispy enough"

At this point I just wanted to burst out laughing cause I found it so damn funny and me and Almiras were just looking at each other, trying not to start laughing XD
Seriously that was just so random, to think that she thought a proper shop like that, that sells meat products, would have uncooked meat to let customers eat is just lol, but there we go. Also I think we british make our bacon crispy enough, it's just we prefer to have a fair bit of the meat left rather than have something which resembles crackling, but I'm not going to get into the best way of cooking bacon or who dose it better.

Also in other random news... POKEMON GOLD AND SILVER DS REMAKES OH MY SNFJKADNGJFlgbnrjlgfsbjgklafnjlg!!!!! (Happy Spaz dance!) Yay I'm so happy that they're going to be remaking those games, I know I'll definitely be importing them when they're available :D

Hey all, well as it's been a while now since I last updated I just thought I would post about a few random things because I could.

So anyway, not much has been going on with me really, been doing a few things here and there but nothing major. I've been doing some work to my website, seeing as I overhauled the design recently I'm now trying to update the content with a better look and information, which is going well, but I've got some bits still left to do before I can upload any of it.

Speaking of that I've also been doing a few bits of art recently that I'm still working on, got one more piece I want to do at the moment, cause they're all to go on my website. Then I'll also be uploading them, to DeviantArt once their finished, but like I said got one more I want to have finished before I upload them.

Apart from that there's only one major thing left for me to talk about, and that is my new laptop. I finally managed to buy myself a new laptop to upgrade from my old iBook G3 from 2001. So what did I upgrade to? A MacBook Pro 2.44Ghz Dual core processor with 2 GB of memory and a 250Gb hard drive, I think that's a suitable upgrade from my little 500Mhz iBook G3. I'm really pleased with it, so far I've spent most of my time upgrading and installing new software (as well as setting up windows on it as well as Parallels so that I can run windows apps directly on the Mac :D no more limitation on programs now, Yay) and generally getting it ready for usage.

Apart from that I'm also going to be changing the look to my Livejournal at some point, just need to find a new look that I like and customize it to my likings as well.

So there we go, not much of an update maybe, but hey there we go, nothing that much has happened hat is really worth talking about. So anyway, that's all I've got to say for now, for take care all and I'll be back soon.

Hey hey all, it's been quite a while since I last updated here now hasn't it (my birthday I believe) and I am still alive, just have been very busy with lots of random stuff so haven't put much though to adding an entry to here, though I do still plan to add entries here, just won't be that regularly.

Anyway, myself, almiraswolf and truekitsune have been away over the last weekend (27th - 29th), for a little event that takes place once in year in Southampton... known only as Minamicon (for that is it's name!). So what did I get up to... well you'll just have to read on to find out!

Well here we are another year has passed and I'm now another year older, how time flies hey?!

Seems a little strange being 24 now but I've managed to stet done some of the things that I've wanted to achive, which I'm happy about, but while I'm a bit dissapointed that there's still some things that I haven't even started yet, I know I've still got plenty of time left to do them all the remaining things in. So what that comes down to is lots of things that I want to work on over this year (yay lots to work on :D) which I'm confident that I'll be able to do.

Anyway thanks to all my friends who sent me birthday messages and presents and I hope you all have a great 2009 and even though the start of my 2009 hasn't been very good I'm sure things will get better as the year goes on, so take care all.

So then, Sonic Unleashed... it was the game that Sega kept tooting as being the best 3D Sonic game to date and that more or less it was going to save Sonic, however the whole "Werehog" idea kinda made fans worry (I really just didn't know what to make of it when I first heard about it).
Well the games finally been released over here (well last friday to be exact) and I've been playing on it since I got it on launch day, which it took me long enough to find a copy of as GAME didn't have any in stock even though they had product boxes with prices on out, which really pissed me off, even more so cause they were the only place offering it for £29.99.

So just how good is Unleashed then? Well I have to say not only am I very impressed by it, but I am very surprised at how good the game is. I got the 360 version of the game and must say, the day stages are really well made (though I still feel that there are some "bottomless pit" areas that shouldn't be there) though I don't feel that some last for long enough and the night stages are actually a lot better than I thought they would be. The combat is fine and the amount of combos makes it interesting enough to keep playing to see what you'll get next next and what combos you can actually pull off.
The graphics (on all version) are really good, but the Hedgehog Engine really shows how good it is and it's obvious that they've spent a lot of time working on it (they say 3 years). Also all the loading time problems that plagued Sonic Next are gone, with loading times between 10-20 seconds depending on what's being loaded, which is very good when compared to Next's loading times!

So overall I am VERY happy with unleashed, do not trust the gaming media's reviews of the 360 version as I feel it's fine (a few control issues here and there, mainly the Air boost mapped to the same button as the homing attack, caused me to dash off to my death instead of doing the homing attack quite a few times; especially in Chu-Nan!) and the most solid 3D Sonic game we've had since Sonic Adventure 1&2. So personally I recommend that if you've been considering getting it, so and buy it as I feel the day stages alone make it well worth it. Now excuse me while I go off to play it some more!

Well been a while since I last posted here hasn't it. However there's a good reason for that and it's called work; it's using up most of my time and when I'm not at work I've just got so many other things that I want to get on with that I simply forget about posting here!

( Anyway I've got lot's of stuff to go on about so you can see it all after the cut. )

Well I've now done my months trial and things are going really really well there and I'm really enjoying working there too. The staff are great, the environment is nice and relaxed and there plenty to keep you busy, so overall I'm really enjoying it. Though I need to have a new contract made up now (which will hopefully include a pay rise, lol) but other than that it's all good, plus as a bonus they want me to re-make their website for them :D which is just fantastic as far as I'm concerned (especially as they've said that I can add that to my portfolio as well if I want to, which I will).

So yeah Works going great and it's nice to have random days off to do what I want. So far today I've got up late (lol lie-in's are very nice), done some random stuff online, played Pokemon Diamond more (trying to beat 100 trainers in the battle tower) and been to the bank to move some money about a bit and that's all I've done so far today. There's other things I want to try and get done today as well, but I'll have to see how that goes, though I should be able to get everything done that I want to today (with any luck)
